If you speak Italian, you know that “bella storia” means “beautiful history.”
If you grew up with Italian immigrant grandparents, you also know that they often mingled their native Italian with the English words they were hearing and learning, embellishing those new words with the fillip of a vowel at the end. “Storia” to them was both history and story.
At Bellastoria Press, you will also find both history and story, for we believe that stories are chronicles of our history–whether deeply personal or broadly encompassing.
We invite you to turn the page, and hope that you will find it beautiful.
